I’ve never been in a 5 Star hotel before, although I’ve been in many very nice ones. But the Four Seasons in Seattle is my first. It’s lovely. And you are treated like you are the most important person to walk through the doors, which does a lot to soothe frayed nerves.
Mr. Al and I are here for a weekend-long art auction. The auction house picks up the tab. (You thought we could actually afford to stay at the Four Seasons? Google the room rates). The auction house feeds you and gives you free drinks. You go home with some art you didn’t realize you needed. The auction house wins. (You think the auction house would put you in a Five Star hotel because they’re kind and generous?)
Regardless, Mr. Al and I are having fun. We are meeting nice people who love art. We’re meeting the artists who created the art. And we’ve got some new art for our walls, of course.
I leave you now with some pics of the Four Seasons….in no particular order…
I have to say, though, I still love the Alexis Hotel when I want to meet my girlfriends for a city adventure.
Have a great week, peeps! I’m going to be continuing with my tele-summit expert interviews. I’ve interviewed three so far. It’s been amazing. Such big hearted conversations. I’ve been learning a great deal from my experts…I know the listeners will too, come May 8th (launch date)
