Shall we try again? This did not post in time for your Sunday Morning Coffee. Why? Well…my mouse’s batteries died. That’s the main reason, and all you need to know. Perhaps it was meant to be enjoyed with your afternoon tea or evening cocktail??
Here we go…
I am very grateful that I took a time out to just chill. Because this Gearing Up For Love Coach is gearing up for her TeleSummit. I’m recording my first interview tomorrow. Am I ready? Of course. Am I nervous? That too.
But today, I’m taking a day off. I’ve worked hard pulling things together. Still more to do. Lot’s more…but it is pulling together.
So what am I going to do today besides unpack (we’ve been home since Tuesday, I guess we should unpack?)
Paint! I’m going to paint!! I’ve a 12-month painting that I’m working on. Time to paint February. When I’m done, it will contain the essence of this year. Not like a collage, but as a painting. Probably, more than one painting. Most likely, layers of paintings. But I will also be taking photos of each month so the lost paintings can still be seen.
I like the notion of paintings-within-paintings. It’s like us, don’t you see? When we notice a person, we see whatever they’re projecting, i.e.their outward appearance. But they’ve got layers of experience underneath that outward appearance. It’s what makes them so unique and deep and fascinating. That is, assuming they milked those experiences for the curds of value.
(See what I did there? The whey I wrangled in some dairy descriptives?)
Anyway, the more paint on a canvas, the more lavish, splendid and magnificent it becomes.
Yummy.
I leave you now with some images from our vacation…
And a picture looking out from our cabana…one of my favorite days. We snorkeled for quite a while in the lagoon with both leatherback, green turtles and a cloud of fish which was amazing. The lagoon at the Hilton hotel is open to the ocean, so lots of critters swim in and out to rest from the ocean’s surge. Then we snuggled in the shade of our cabana where the cabana boy kept bringing us yummy things to eat and drink. There he goes…delivering drinks…walking with purpose…with all his many layers of experience…in his cabana boy outfit.
And here’s one of those many drinks: Blueberry Mojito….Ahhhh….this memory’s gotta last me for a year.
And another of the lagoon…I’m milking this memory dry, I am…
Have a great week, peeps! I think next week I’ll share some food and drink porn…it’s a possibility…unless something more interesting than pretty food and pretty drinks may come up.
Thanks for sharing your memories. I feel refreshed just looking at the photos. Good luck with your interview!
I’m glad you’re feeling refreshed. And thanks for interviewing luck.
