As I write this blog, I look out my window and see the bald eagle perched directly across from me. All 7000 feathers of him.
My new buddy. Isn’t he splendid? Mr. Al enlarged this shot I took with my iPhone.
Did you know bald eagles have 7000 feathers? I just looked it up. And how do they know bald eagles have said number of feathers? Did someone pluck and count them? Probably. Then what did they do with the eagle after it’s feathers were plucked and counted? And do I really want to know? No, not really. I probably could ask Siri, but I really don’t want to think about it further.
Back to my buddy eagle.
He’s been fishing the creek that runs along our backyard. Yesterday evening, he got lucky and Mr. Al and I watched him eat his dinner of fresh sushi.
I should have left the enlarging to Mr. Al. Mine looks all digitally. But you get the idea and heck…I’ve never claimed to be a professional photographer.
This morning, he’s been patiently waiting for about 30 minutes and —look at that—he just flew off.
He’s magnificent.
Here’s something else…well, maybe not magnificent…but certainly inspiring to me–
It’s been a week since I’ve been sending out invitations to experts to participate in my TeleSummit, and I’ve 9 who have agreed!! NINE!!!!!! YAY!!!!! It may be 10, but number 10 told me he’d only promote me on social media. Although he’s got masses of followers, I really need him to talk about it in an email to his peeps.
It’s called list building and percentages and marketing stats I know nothing about. But I’m trying hard to follow the rules my coach laid down for me.
The one thing I do know something about is I truly desire to reach those peeps I can coax, coach and mentor into their happy place…gear them up for love…plus provide them with a group of experts who so generously share their knowledge and wisdom for FREE.
And the solo newsletters and the social media exposure is the way to get that done.
So I’m doing it.
I wrote back to Mr. Won’t-Email-My-List-About-Your-Tele-Summit and asked him, politely, if I could get back to him because I’d love to have him part of the event and if I reach my quota, then I’ll agree to his terms.
How’s that for a run-on sentence?
Have a great week, peeps! I know I will be…Mr. Al and I are heading to Hawaii this Monday. I really hope I can share with you some shots of the lava flowing into the sea. Wouldn’t that be amazing?
And I will leave our home under the watchful eyes of my new buddy, the eagle.
I leave you now with two mountain moods I took yesterday–
Morning:
and Afternoon:
Holy cow! You’re leaving already?!?! I lost track of time, I guess.
Cheers, F
Yup! Aloha!
