It’s storming here in the Pacific Northwest. Lots of gusts with spitting rain. The creek is high…washed away all the remains of the downed tree that wrecked havoc last winter. This is a big storm…my friend in Portland and friends in Eureka are also experiencing it, too. Makes me glad we aren’t at the coast.
But we’re cozy, warm and the power only flickered off once… so far.
And today, Saturday, was prolific. I finished all the requirements for my certification process! All I need to do is upload my final document. That will be tomorrow. Today, as is my way, I let it rest. Tomorrow, I will review it one last time with fresh eyes and send it off.
How am I feeling? Bittersweet relief. It was quite a journey. Now it’s time for me to hang out my shingle and begin my work…
There is a lot of work ahead of me.
Daunting– like the Doppler Radar of this storm. But like the radar, there are bits that are clear within the dark green….differing degrees of daunting and even some moments of daunt-free-ness.
So, it’s good. It will be fun. In fact, I can’t wait.
In the meantime, I’ve got a book to get published. I spent two days in Seattle with my formatter, proofreader and good friend. We played, of course, and we worked. This time next week I expect to share some happy news, possibly some active links!
I’m really looking forward to begin writing Book Four. I did begin it, but I don’t like what I’ve written and shall begin anew.
Have a great week, peeps! I leave you with some pics of Seattle…
And the storm is brewing
