What’s great about having a friend living in Seattle is you get to experience city life when you visit. And vice versa–my friend gets to experience country life when she visits me.
Here’s what I experience when I visit her home:
And here’s what she experiences when she visits with us:
The robins are back! I hear them singing their territorial boundary song, announcing their boundary , staking their claim. I love robins. They remind me of plump, robust and well-to-do gentlemen. They’re also very handy to pay attention to when hiking. They’re the sentinels. They alert the wildlife to who’s in the woods with their various calls. It’s interesting to note that their identifying call for a bear and for a human is the same. A little fun fact to ponder.
Happy Equinox! Happy Spring! Happy blooming bulbs and budding trees and new growth wherever you look.
Have a great week, peeps!
We really have a great exchange set up! -city mouse with a country heart
