Good morning! Good morning! There’s going to be an amazing full moon and eclipse tonight. It also happens to be closest to the earth as it orbits around it’s little orbit path. Perhaps that’s why I feel like I’m juggling and running a marathon and standing still at the same time. Brain tide being affected by said close moon. Shine On, Harvest Moon. Enlighten me.
So how was your week? Got your own brain tide happening? Join the crowd.
My book is still on target, although anything can happen, right? We should be uploading on Wednesday. This is the first time I’ve not ordered a proof copy. Not sure if this a good thing or a bad thing.
Or just a thing.
I can proof the book on line, after all.
I just like holding them in my hands.
Makes them feel more like a book.
Last week, I told you about the course I’m taking offered by Shiloh Sophia and Amber Kuileimailani Bonnici entitled Legacy, an initiation in paint. It began with the Ancestors. I meditated while I painted on my ancestors and this is what came into being:

Layer number two has to do with the land. What feeds your soul? Heals your moon-addled-brain? Grounds you? For me, it is The Mountain and the islands…water, ocean and salty air. Here’s what I painted during my meditation.

What else did I juggle this past week? I worked on Book Three. It’s got a title now: Chaos Driven. And I also neatened up my Series Notebook. It was a mess. I’ve got a looseleaf binder (for each of the books I’ve written, in fact) where I keep track of what’s going on, characters, terms, bits I want to add in other books. Thoughts, pictures of characters, etc.
I also decided to sell these anti-aging products offered in a direct marketing platform. I was skeptical but I’ve been taking before and after pictures and am amazed at the difference in my face’s complexion in just three weeks. Got so enthusiastic I signed up. I liked the company, too. It has a different, more enlightened focus than just making lots of money. It wants to spread happiness and well being, if you can believe that. I was skeptical about that, too. But, the more involved I got, the more I realized they weren’t fake.
And that’s all I’m going to say about that because I don’t want my blogs to sound like a “Come to Jesus” sermon. Perhaps I’ll post a before and after picture someday.
But not today.
Had company over for dinner. Made a lasagna and it took FOREVER to cook. Fortunately, we were all having a great time and nobody really noticed how late it was when we finally sat down to munch.
In fact, I shall leave you with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers our guests brought with them. Look at them! They are so vibrant. You can tell these flowers were grown and nurtured and selected with love.

Have a great week, Peeps! Check out the eclipse if you can.
Your art class sounds amazing, very deepening. Love the results!
