These past two weeks have been more about business than about writing. Mr. Al and I are getting our ducks in a row which is a little easier than herding cats.
Oh, there are several scenes banging away in my head, but they’re not out of my skull and that frustrates Moi.
Fortunately, yesterday, between laundry and chores, I did manage to write a couple of short scenes—one an assassination attempt, another of Wren exploring their new ship. You know how Wren likes to know every nook and cranny. What’s nice is we get to go along on her exploration. Gives us an idea of where she will be living as my “motley crew” travels light years away from Entean and Spur.
But you don’t know what I’m talking about, do you?
That’s because more is revealed in Episode Two and it won’t be published for another couple of weeks. I’ll be sure to announce that when it happens.
In the meantime, I’ll be entertaining a dear friend who is visiting just in time for the Washington State Fair. It’s been light years since I’ve been to a fair. Gonna be fun.
I leave you with two pics I took the other day when Mr. Al and I took a long walk. It was such a pleasant walk (other than the dogs getting thigh-deep in stagnant water) I do believe we will be repeating the route soon. No doubt the dogs will still get into the stagnant water, but we’ve got a creek in our back yard. They can rinse off.

And one of the Mountain I took while out and about “choring.”

Have a great week peeps!
