I am in a mood. Not in the mood….
In A Mood.
Yeah, we’ve all been there.
So… being in said Mood, I’ve found it best not to say anything that’s going to come back to bite me.
Instead, lucky you, I’m going to post more pictures of The Mountain. Yes, I went to The Mountain again this week. My son is visiting. Mr. Al and I just had to share our new neighbor with him.
Here we are photo bombing our own selfie.
The flowers are in full bloom…it was such an open winter, everything is popping out early…five weeks early. They’re everywhere, bursting with life and color.
I think in a blog last summer I mentioned 8,000 feet above sea level is one of my favorite places to be.
Here’s why—
We feasted on visuals, then feasted on victuals. Here’s Mr. Al dining by a river…
After lunch, we visited the Patriarchs and Matriarchs of the park. Extraordinary trees, standing in a grove where they’ve remained rooted for centuries.
This uprooted tree is huge. It was like looking into a whirling tunnel. If you weren’t afraid of spiders and creepy things, you could crawl right up the center of it. I made Mr. Al stand in front of the whirling tunnel of twisted tree so you can see how large it is… (it looks like he’s afraid I’m going to ask him to crawl up in there!)
Have a great week, Peeps! Don’t forget, my FaceBook launch Party is Wednesday, July 1, 4:00-6:00PM Pacific Coast time or 7:00-9:00PM East Coast Time.
You’re happily invited to join me. I’ve also got 4 guest authors partying with me…a variety for you. There are giveaways and potential new summer reads for you! Here’s the link:
Great blog. This looks very appealing indeed, aided by some great pictures. Thanks for sharing this on Twitter. 🙂
Thanks, Stewart! Glad you enjoyed my ramblings.
Just so refreshing and gorgeous not to mention well written. Next best thing to being there.
Thank you, Ma’am!
