Countdown to Travel

Good morning, Peeps!  Have you been enjoying your Memorial Day long weekend?  Mr. Al and I’ve been making lists of things-to-do-before-we-leave.

Have you noticed that the closer a vacation gets, the more you realize how badly you need one?

I’ll tell you what, I have definitely earned this one.

Big Time.

Yesterday, I pushed the “Publish” button and The PeaceKeeper Corps is on its way to being available  (But you know that.  Old news, eh?) It was a lot of work. I’m strongly considering hiring a formatter for Sky Dancers.  I can’t tell you how many times I uploaded that book onto CreateSpace.  I think it was a record number.  Sneaky things happen between your Word File and the PDF File CreateSpace creates from your Word File, and if you’re not adept at Word…well, then, you have to blame it all on gremlins.

But it’s done and now I’ve a vacation to be excited about.

We’re leaving bright and early Thursday, and of course I’ll be taking you along on with me on our adventurings.

Mr. Al has a broken hand (he used a swivel chair instead of a step ladder and it swiveled him onto the floor) and isn’t supposed to use the injured paw at all.

But we’re still planning on doing actively fun things.

Or at least, we’ll be outside attempting to do actively fun things….

maybe more fun than active.

We’ll just have to see.

I CANNOT WAIT!!   That much I know.  In the meantime, between now and Thursday morning, there’s a lot of things I’ll be needing to cross off our list.
