Some of you may remember a reporter named Charles Kuralt, an American Journalist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Kuralt). For many years he had a Sunday Morning news show. It was great. It was interesting. It was folksy. It was chill.
It eased you into your Sunday Morning.
I’d wake up on Sundays, brew my coffee and have old Charlie on the TV. Sometimes, I’d listen to him. Sometimes, he was just background filler.
But he was there. With his deep, soothing voice, he got you curious, he got you thinking, and he got your Sunday off to a good start.
NOT that I am planning a news show blog or anything, but, when I’m not travelling, I’m planning to write a Sunday Morning Coffee blog—a blog about not much of anything other than a little something to read to help get you eased into your Sunday Morning.
This is the first one.
For the past couple of months I’ve been thinking about what to do with two blog sites when I’m just one person.
I mean, why?
Why would I have two blogs when I’m such an inconsistent blogger anyhoo?
Have you noticed how I never really wrap up a travel trip?
Yeah….sorry about that.
But I’m not going to promise that it will never happen again. After nearly 58 (Yikes) years, I know myself pretty well, although, thank GAWD, I am discovering more things about MOI all the time. I think that’s pretty darned cool, actually. Otherwise, I’d get bored and probably become a pretty boring individual.
Or a chocolate addict, which I kinda am already.
So, henceforth….there will no longer be a Chronicles of C.B.Williams, Author and Artist.
Everything will be posted to Chronicles of Cammy.
Just because.
And because I have some guilt, now, about never wrapping up the Whistler BC trip, here are some pictures of our final meal there.
OMG….
if you EVER go to Whistler, you MUST eat at The Rim Rock Café and Oyster Bar. Here’s their link: http://rimrockcafe.com
May your belly smile and your mouth juice up with yummmmm.
I’ll be ready with my cuppa!
