It’s the Holidays! What can I say? I had plans to transcribe my journal and post lots of travel details. BUT…
We got back from our lovely cruise and had Christmas Cards waiting for us. That made me crack the whip and get going as you can imagine.
It’a a peaceful, rainy Sunday morning. I really wanted to just chill in bed and listen to the rain. However, there are things to do and people to see….presents to wrap. Cards to send. And some teenagers sacked out in the rec room who will be hungry when they wake up.
I love it. Don’t get me wrong. Just doesn’t leave much time for blogging.
My plan: I thought I’d do a visual picture posting of our trip, to share with y’all. It was a 14 Day adventure, mostly at sea. So, for the next two weeks, I thought I’d post a day at a time, even if it’s just one or two pictures for that day.
But to set the mood….
Imagine, if you will, the combination of rocking and forward momentum. Then, add to that warm breezes and fresh salty air, lightly perfumed with exotic flowers. A pod of nearly 400 dolphins. A breaching whale and a silently gliding sea turtle. Flying fish. Sunshine. A vast horizon. Room Service. Your bed turned down at night. Bathing suits and light clothing. Snorkeling. The sun on your skin. Not speaking for hours as your mind drifts and relaxes.
Tommorow, then….the picture parade will begin….
