I have been thinking a lot about what Co-Creation means. It’s been bandied about a lot in my world. My friends talk about it, my lovely Soul Memory Discovery Teacher talks about it. The metaphysical websites were I lurk from time to time talk about it….but what does it mean?
Well, obviously, it means to create something with somebody. We’re co-creating all the time. We call it compromise, or coming up with win-win situations, or committees and voting. It’s all co-creation.
Even if we’re deciding to do something on our own, there’s a co-creative ripple effect.
Do I let the cats in now because they want to come into the house, or do I wait until it’s more convenient for me? My decision is a co-creation with my cats.
Now, that I’ve established what co-creating means to me in my own little way….what if I run across someone who wants to co-create in their own little way? What if they want to take a win (them) – lose (you) approach?
Well, it’s not very co-creative is it? I wouldn’t call that a co-creative stance, anyway.
And what if I wanted to win, too?
Time to kick it up to a broader perspective. Time to allow things to move into place. Rather than push the issue, let it all go for a while.
Breathe.
An image, a dream, a desire to communicate….
I’ve been looking at photos of my spiritual paintings. I’ve had it in the back of my mind to use them as illustrations. I came across an image of a magician working with water. I love the magician archetype. Why not have him help me answer the question?
Last night I dreamed of a sea turtle. It was beautiful. The turtle could help me as well.
And I’ve a desire to communicate a great truth….but a great truth offered as a tasty morsel. A great truth that lingers on the tongue to savor after the tasty morsel has long dissolved and been swallowed.
“This or something better for the benefit of all involved.”
That is my wish.
The story will eventually be posted on my website under the “stories” tab…. www.2inspire.us
