Have you noticed how the world works? For me, it’s been experience, experience and pause. Or it’s experience, experience, experience, experience and then pause. However it happens….stuff happens…you experience the stuff and you keep experiencing the stuff and then there’s a pause.. The pause is an undetermined amount of time which allows you to kind of/sort of figure out what just happened. You kind of/ sort of figure that out and start to experience more stuff. So, you’re either experiencing or your looking at what just happened.
What’s been happening to me??
I’ve been in a really long experiencing pattern. I’ve been experiencing and experiencing and experiencing. And currently I’m in a bit of a pause phase. How long is this pause phase? I’m thinking it’s not too long. But it’s long enough to sorta kinda get a grip on all the stuff I’ve been experiencing.
Had dinner with a good friend….the best man at our wedding. We had a blast. It was needed.
We were in Minnesota to say good-bye to my husband’s dad. His time is drawing near. It’s a very holy time. Death is very holy. It is a time where the ordinary merges with the profoundly extraordinary. It is a place of deep feeling….deep gratitude and deep sorrow. If we are lucky, we experience closure.
My husband was lucky.
And me? I am a witness. I am honored.
Nice!
Written on my iPad, which has a mind of its own. All typos, errors and strange word choices are entirely its fault. And never mine, of course.
