Ah Venus

Ah Venus.

I watched the Venus Transit through my special glasses that we used for Eclipse Day.  After blinking several times, I realized that what I thought was a mote in my eye was a beauty mark on the sun.  Venus was very tiny to my naked-but-well-protected-eye (no melted retinas here.)

Oh, but look what Nasa caught with their far superior-to-the-naked-eye technology!  Look at the sun!  Wow!  So angry.  So mesmerizing.

Venus is one brave lady.
