Last night, I had what I call one of my “adventure dreams.” Adventure dreams are usually linear and make sort of sense and are usually kind of wild. My novel, Sky Dancers, began as one of these dreams.
This one was a crazy fun one, although I doubt I’ll turn it into a novel.
Mr. Al and I were guinea pigs for our friends who were launching a new business. The business was kind of like an amusement park ride only there was no amusement park, just different places along a designated route where spooky (but safe) things would happen. As an example, at one stop, a vampire would suddenly be in your midst except, instead of attacking you and sucking you dry, it shared its power with you so you got to experience all that super strength and morphing into a bat. Then, at another stop, you dined at the Addams’ Family house. Alas, no Addams were present, but the house was fun to poke around in and the food delicious.
I woke up around the time we were given an old convertible car ( red, with fins and white sidewalls, and a small terrier dog sporting a red bow as a traveling companion. Go figure.) and sent along a route to a drive-in movie spot in the middle of the dark woods. I never found out what happened there because the route took us through Healdsburg, CA and I had to stop and go shopping.
I’m sure I could pick apart that dream and find all sorts of Jungian and Freudian stuff in there but why do that when it was such a fun adventure, right? I woke up in a good mood because of that goofy dream and that’s good enough for me.
But the launching a new business bit was a no brainer because that’s what I’m doing.
I’m taking what I learned in the Color of Woman Intentional Creativity TM Certification Program and creating a Coaching Business called “Saucy Dames Boot Camp, gearing up for love.” It’s for all you Saucy Dames out there who are ready to get prepared for their Lasting Love. Gonna be fun: lots of art, lots of journaling, lots of conversation and diving deep. Did I mention lots of art? Lots of Intentional Creativity TM art.
