I’m in Eureka, visiting my Sonshine and friends. Drove up from Healdsburg on Monday. And I’m going home on Monday. Missing home and Mr. Al, but enjoying being back in Eureka, behind the redwood curtain. Great visits. Great conversations as I catch up. Makes me realize how precious friendships are. I want to manifest a girlfriend up in Washington, one who I can go to a chick flick with or meet for lunch or go shopping….you know, spontaneous girlfriend stuff.
I was telling my friends about my new entrepreneurial online business. Now that I’ve graduated, I’m launching myself as a Love Coach who uses Intentional Creativity as a way to prepare Saucy Dames for their true love. I am a certified professional coach after all.
Someone asked me how I decided on the love arena rather than another form of coaching. I told my friend it was because of my Scarlett O’Hara Moment…you know…Gone With The Wind? “As God is my witness, I’ll never go hungry again” the music swells and we go to intermission. Anyway, throughout our lives we have these moments where we draw the line in the sand, where we say ‘no more’ and mean it. They motivate us to change. My Scarlett O’Hara Moment involved a relationship. Relationships are my thing…all kinds of relationships; friends, family, lovers, children, the planet. If you think about it, all life is one giant relationship between you and the rest of the world. But the most important relationship is between you and you. If you don’t love and appreciate you, how are you really going to truly love and appreciate another? How are you going to know what you really need from a partner? How are you going to know what’s healthy for you or what’s toxic?
So that’s what I’m doing. And I’ve got my first client. We begin Thursday. I can’t wait to support her find her way to love.
Have a great week peeps!
I leave you now with some images of Humboldt.
But first, here’s my graduating class…
