Ever since I turned in my final project to become a certified Intentional Creativity coach and teacher, I feel I’ve been just ghosting around.
‘Tis the season, I suppose.
I still get things done, but what should have taken me two hours, takes all day.
I’ve lost my focus and have been project hopping. My ToDo list now has a ToDo list.
I find myself visiting the school’s website and haunting its cyber corridors, rather like Moaning Myrtle from the Harry Potter books. Then I will go over to their FaceBook page and lurk there. Then I will finally get back to creating and sending out a flier for my December workshop. And perhaps then, I will finally finish cleaning up my space and organizing my stuff.
I’m sure it will pass. The fire in my belly will reignite and I will burst into focused action once again.
Get my Saucy Dames Bootcamp launched. Actually I did something smart about that…I hired a Business Coach to help me strategize, to hold my hand and to kick me in the caboose when necessary. I agonized over the expense, but when I finally did, I felt tremendous relief.
I’m leaving this week. I will be gone for two weeks while Mr. Al holds down the fort. Some of the time I will be in Healdsburg, CA graduating and becoming officially certified. The rest of the time, I will be in Eureka visiting my friends and my son. It’s hard to see everybody in a week. You’d think it’d be easy, but I want one-on-one time and deep conversation.
Not just a quick cup of coffee.
Funny…when I lived in Eureka and had all the time in the world, getting together with friends didn’t seem that important.
I was so wrong.
Have a great week, peeps and Happy Halloween! đŸ‘»
I leave you with a picture of Mr.Pip’s favorite new place to sleep. He either wants to murder us in the dark, or has a death wish. Goofy cat.
An amazing beef stew recipe…
And our favorite mountain: Rainier. He was mainly in cloud cover this past week. It was wonderful seeing him again.
I think you might be a teensy bit tired…*I* sure would be!
Much more than likely!
