EXPLORING THE MAGICAL AND THE MUNDANE

The Big Wind

My heart goes out to those victims of Hurricane Matthew…Florida and on up the coast.  Haiti. That poor island. Those poor people! Why can’t they get a break? It should be renamed Hades.

Puts my problems in perspective, yes it does.

In fact, I was going to rant a tad about said problems of mine, but I’ve lost the desire. I’m doing great, by comparison, and I’m grateful for that. In fact, it pays to remember how blessed one’s life really is.

So what does one do with one’s blessed life?

This one is giving back in this one’s own way.

Little random acts of kindness. Being generous when one can be. Listening. Encouraging. Creating beauty. Writing stories filled with adventure, courage, love and hope.

And being happy as much as possible.

I leave you now with a lovely garden…

A view of Ohop Creek. Yes, the same creek that flows by our house. Yes, it floods here, too.

And a pastoral scene with cattle. Isn’t Mt. Rainier magnificent?

Have a great week, Peeps!!  Please register to vote. If you’re going to rant about our country’s condition, at least you can say you’ve voted.
