For joy

Bucking

Twisting my neck, feeling my power

For joy

Freedom is Scenting the wind and

Finding sweet grasses there

Finding fresh water there

Finding my herd there

Freedom is Standing perfectly still in warm sunlight,

Rippling my skin

Freedom is A good roll in the grass, kicking up dust

Sleeping stretched out on my side with another standing by

A full belly

Freedom is moving…

Beyond Now

And

Into Next
