It’s hard to indulge in a nice lazy sleep-in when there’s a cat wandering over your person and drooling in your face.
I’ve two cats–The Boys. They are brothers. One’s a drooler. The other’s a kneader.
But we’ve all got our little quirks.
The kneader is on my lap as I type. He favors the crook of my left elbow. The drooler is within my line of vision, napping in the corner by a pair of discarded boots.
Pip (He Drools)
and Blur (He Kneads.)
Pip and Blur.
Good for nothin’ cats.

I love them.
I was going to write today about a really handy piece of camping technology, the Kelly Kettle.

Mr. Al and I’ve not been on a camping adventure for a while so our Kelly Kettle is packed away. When last we used it, I took many pictures for a forthcoming blog. Alas, the pictures were pre-computer crash and are lost. The perils of trusting technology. So, here’s a link to the wonders of the Kelly Kettle...
And a demo of it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcForaMyLcg
I leave you with a picture of Miki as a puppy and as an adult. As you can see, she’s grown some.

And…a little movie of an eaglet and a pip with Proud Humboldt Bay Eagle Mama tending to both. Notice how the parent curls her talons so she doesn’t injure her babe.

Have a great week, Peeps!!
Aren’t our furry family members such fun? Enjoyed this one.
Thanks! They let me sleep in today, the charmers!
You are most welcome!
