Topic: A sense of Isolation
I recently had my astrological chart done. I see my chart as a personalize roadmap like a AAA Triptik (remember those before GPS)….or a Google Map with directions of how to get from Point A to Point B with all the hotels and gas stations listed. I can choose to read the map and follow it, or I can take a side road and pause and explore. Doesn’t matter.
Anyway, this astrologer told me that I may be feeling isolated…but that I’ve misinterpreted what that feeling of isolation is.
In reality, it is not a negative feeling.
In reality it is a recognition of my own unique flavor that has created me to be ME and do what I do.
He told me that seeing my difference and understanding it is something to rejoice in. And when I see my difference I can see how that difference makes a difference to my circle of influence.
This got me thinking….
How many other feelings and emotions have we misinterpreted? Mis-labeled? It would be really interesting to look at that. A feeling comes to our attention. We look at it and give it a name. Then we fully embrace it and live from the perspective of that feeling that we named. It’s really weird when we start looking at that. Because it happens so fast, we aren’t even aware that that is what we’re doing, so we don’t look at it. We just become what we tell ourselves we are feeling.
It goes like this (Behold! My mind chatter)
Wow! Powerful food for thought. Think you’ve done our friend Robert one better … WAY better!
Way to go, pal.
